Crossgate Capital has been investing since 2019, giving us seven years of hands-on experience as a New Zealand based specialist crypto investor, a considerable period in a sector that is still relatively young.
When we opened to the public in 2019, our proposition was simple
but, at the time, genuinely novel for New Zealand investors: rather
than backing a single coin, we would build and manage a diversified
basket of cryptocurrencies on behalf of shareholders, inside a
familiar, locally governed and audited company structure.
Our portfolio has evolved as the market has evolved. It now
spans large-cap cryptocurrencies, smart-contract platforms,
decentralised finance, payments, data infrastructure,
entertainment, and more recently the emerging field of machine
learning and artificial intelligence.
